Dr. Melissa Minger is committed to excellence in patient care. She graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina and went on to complete an Advanced Education General Dentistry program at the University of Florida. Dr. Minger is a residency trained general dentist, specializing in comprehensive general dentistry.

She is committed to continuing education, being apart of the Spear Education Faculty Club in Scottsdale, a Pankey Institute Alumni, and has completed the curriculum at the Dawson Academy.

Dr. Minger was born and raised in Northwest Florida and continued her education in South Carolina. She was very involved with the ADA, state and local dental societies, holding leadership positions, committee positions, and board appointments on all levels.

She is a member of the ADA, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She looks forward to being involved here in local study clubs and the San Diego County Dental Association.

Internationally Dr. Minger has served providing dental services in Ecuador, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Burundi, and Uganda. One of her passions is overseas dental/medical missions. When Dr. Minger is away from the office she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including tennis, sailing, kayaking, and hiking. She enjoys the company of friends and family and most of all loves to travel.

Dr. Minger resides in La Jolla.
